Pear, peach & crushed almonds with whiskey and honey

Serves 2

You will need

  • 1 ripe pear
  • 1 ripe peach
  • 50g shelled almonds
  • Whiskey
  • 2 tablespoons runny honey

Preparation

  1. Peel and core the pear and cut into chunks.
  2. Cut the peach in half, remove the stone and cut into chunks.
  3. Put the almonds into a plastic bag and crush using a rolling pin.
  4. Arrange the prepared fruit over the bowls of cooked porridge, followed by the almonds.
  5. Add a glug of whiskey to taste and drizzle over the honey.
